Now that show I do watch. I love it! In fact, I TiVo it and watch it when I'm having a bad day and need a smile. "It's pronounced Boo-Kay".

That is a funny show! I love the sister Violet and her husband!

Nope garbage in garbage out. Keeping up Appearances is most excellent. I also like the Vicar of Dibley.

Unless you're the vicar or his wife, then it's "the bucket woman"

ETA: Anybody remember Good Neighbors (the title was different at first in England)?

I knew I wasn't the only one who loved Hyacinth!
"...the Bouquet residence, the lady of the house speaking..."
and
"It's my sister Violet...big house, Mercedes, sauna, room for a pony..."
Those are my favorite phrases!
My husband claims he hates the show, but Onslow always seems to make him chuckle...

I'm a fan of Keeping Up Appearances also, along with Vicar of Dibley, Good Neighbors, Are You Being Served, Fawlty Towers and just about any other British comedy ever made. When my DH is driving and I'm in the car, I'm always telling him to "mind the pedestrian". Pie in the Sky is also a good series, and I just started watching one called Two's Company which I think is going to be pretty good.

"Two's Company" is quite good. Haven't heard about "Pie in the Sky", but interested in it considering how that phrase was coined.
