Tell me there’s at least a single pullet!

I posted about a week ago with my araucana crosses. As time goes on I’m suspicious that the whole batch are boys. I’ve also got a bonus little Australorp who I know is a boy… but who I am in complete denial over. Can someone just tell me there’s no chance he’s a girl so that I can move him on

Thank you!! Yes I forgot to say chick two has that really raggedy, crazy hair-do which I believe is indicative of a roo in this breed?? Thank you for making me feel a little less doomed lol!

I know how you feel! I did a hatch in March fot my birthday and out of 7 I thought I had all roos and I was lucky enough to get only 3 roos. For the longest time I thought my one Legbar cream hen was a roo. But she never crowed however she hasn't laid yet! I wish your flock luck and a great rest of your year!

The last chick is a cockerel in my opinion. Not sure on the crosses, how old are they?

So, if your last post is any indication, they’d be about six weeks? All of their combs are pretty red for so young. If I had to guess, I’d say 3 and 4 are pullets, and 1 and 2 are cockerels. And the Australorp is definitely a cockerel.

I went digging to find out when I got them and I think they’re actually closer to 7-8 weeks.. but yes it’s the red combs that are throwing me off.

I think they’re about 7-8 weeks, and yes… I was fairly certain the last guy was a boy. Such a shame!
