Skiddy is ptetty! I am not sure what Pigpen is cuz I bought him from a farm supply store for 50 cents at Easter and he was dyed orange lol Now that he is adult size he has the markings of a RSL mostly but I'm sure he's mixed up with something lol He comes inside with us a lot and we have two cats. I think he picked up the sleeping like that from them. They will stretch and flop out on the floor then he will do the same! And thanks for the compliment. I think he's beautiful :)
 
Gramma Chick here is a recent pic. See the blond/brown? But his tail is pretty short and black feathers which makes me think he's a " mutt" lol and Shabana thank you :)

Thank you :) And I honestly don't know. I was told he's a Red Sex Link but I was also told his markings aren't dark enough, his tail is too short and he's got those black feathers in the tail. And he is REALLY loud lol we call him Mr Mouth. ;)
 
I love my guy he follows me around, always wants to be picked up. He protects his girls, makes the most dramatic fuss over everything which is comical! And he has this low roar which sounds like he's grumbling half of the time too funny. Only time we have trouble is when he thinks we are carrying something he thinks is food for him, he gets a little overly excited and tries to knock it out of your hand by charging at whatever you are carrying ;( I catch him with a loud fuss when he starts to go for it and he backs off for about 10 seconds before we have another round...

Raja, a.k.a. Roudy Roddy Rooster has personality maybe a personality only we can love, but we think he's a pretty cool dude

OMG! I had to look at the pics of your Roo "stretched out" to see what everybody was talking about and I about died laughing :lau !!!!! Especially the one of him on the back of the couch! That is awesome!

your roo is a sexlink second generation, showing more pearl leghorn from mixes. would be great to mix back to any production type hen to get next gen of production hens, while adding vigor and color.

Nice Americana roo. my bantams are flighty but so colorful, and great range birds, finding most of own food, and never have pred troubles. they nest and lay were i can't get at colorful constant good med eggs ever mostly, so hoping that means they'll be great parents come spring.

Personally I don't keep any of my chickens for a purpose. I am a vegan and don't eat the eggs, and don't use them for meat. The chickens are just pets/friends. Honestly in my opinion the best friends are the ones in the barn (

) Chickens are just my best friends ever! Does every animal have to have a "purpose"? Can't they all just be friends and pets? I don't think that animals should be used like property that has a purpose. That is my opinion anyway. We all have are own.
