temminicks tragopan

You are in the peafowl forum, and a temminck's tragopan is a pheasant. So you will get more answers in the pheasants forum.

My very first male was $75, then his mate was $190, and my second pair was $300, which is a typical price for a pair. The singles just happened to be a great price.

I will call them fire-birds cause they look like they are burning with all those golden tones and i will never remember the real name

Yep I would try this section for more answers: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/50/pheasants-and-partridge-chukar

You can just call them Tragopans or Trags. There are several kinds of tragopans Zaz, they are all very cool but I like the temminck's the most. (I don't have any I just like the looks of them). They look super cool when they display (not my photo):

There are some videos of them on youtube displaying also.

Haha I know there are a lot of really cool birds to drool over. I myself think it would be cool to have a bird of paradise, but for now I will be sticking with just peafowl.

thank you guys for all the information i will most likely stay waterfowl mainly because they are cheap and fun and i will try to get some pretty cool birds maybe a little in the future i will get a few pheasant or quail.
