temp help during lockdown!

i am frustrated with my temp!! i feel out of control with it! at least with humidity, you can control it by adding more water or taking something out....but my temp is 96.3....humidity is lower 70's. it's located in a deep shelf....so i pushed the bator back as far as it can go, and i hung a blanket over it....leaving a couple inches at the side of the blanket opened up for oxygen exchange. i just went back in and checked and now it's 96.6. so maybe that will help. i'm worried about the eggs.

If you are in lockdown, what were the temps like during the rest of incubation? Was there anything you did that brought the temp down? What kind of bator do you have? Some of them, you can pull the plugs out to bring down the temp and put them back in to raise it.. If it's homemade, you can slide screws in the holes until the temp comes up.. As for the blanket, I do that too.. Just be careful to watch the temp carefully because it will get away from you if you aren't careful..

you know. They sey thet 99.5 to 102. id ideal but truly eggs have actualy hatched at 75 i've heard right here in a sill air incubator. aqnyways 96 is a godd tempereature. . sum may say to bump it up a tad bit just up to 98 and u'll be strait. Ninty 6 can actual hatch chicks u know. so dodnt be frustrated.
