temp spike on take off

has anyone ever had a temp spike on the first day? if so how much does it affect incubation?

Mine went up to like 110 for about two hours. They all hatched though. Goodluck.

the therm said 120 ,but i dont think the eggs got that warm.

They should be fine just keep a close eye on them. At day seven candle them and see. Goodluck.

you talking about when you first place your eggs in? if so temp/humidity do spike ....reason being is the egg has fluid in it...that part of it is normal, what happens when you add water to the bator, humidty goes up...so that might be one reason...just watch it...
