That is the still air incubator (according to the title) so the air is warmer at the top (where the LG meausures) than on top of the eggs (where your other thermometer meausures).

I'd go with the bottom thermometer but you don't know if it is correct.

I also have the Little Giant still air incubator. Within the incubator, temperatures are all over the place, varying by as much as 4 degrees. The thermostat and set temperature work though. I fixed the issue by adding a fan normally used for gaming systems.

As far as measurement, I use a probe thermometer calibrated to a level I trust. I insert the probe into the vent holes to check the various areas from time to time. After adding the fan, the temperature is even and correct throughout.
