Temperature in the brooder? Help!

Hello! I'm doing a school project and this has never really occured to me.

What is the ideal temperature in the brooder?

In the incubator for chickens it is 99.5 degrees. Once they hatch, the brooding area for new chicks is 95 degrees and take it down 5 degrees each week.
