Temperature Question

Ok everyone, after my last incubator had a terrible hatch rate and found out it was wildly off on temp I purchased a new Brinsea Maxi Advance II. Temp sensor is off by +1° according to my Temp/Hydrometer (Govee, also brand new). Unit is set to 100.5 to account for the 1°, these are the readings I'm getting, average of 99.4° - should I up the incubator to 100.6° to account for the average or just let it go from here. Offically day 1 at 6 PM. Had the incubator running for 2 hours prior to placing eggs.

0.1-degree won't make much difference, but it's okay to bump it up. You want an average of 99.5.

Yeah, I'm not sure why but it's averaging 95.5 now - thank you.

Ambient temperature in the room can affect it.

Yeah, I keep my incubators in the basement since it stays pretty consistent down there but only thing I could think lf as well. Had a real bad hatch with my last batch so I think I'm just being overly cautious lol.
