I use them under my water and in the nest box when gets under freezing temps mine are called snugglesafe I use them at work when anaesthetising small furries too ! X

Couldn't you just buy a few lizard warming pads? Set them under the bowel and instant heat. Only down side would be they need to plug in somewhere. I have plenty of extra plug-ins laying in the yard thanks to Christmas lol.

It was -13 f. last Monday and mine are out of the wind, well fed and heated water and the did just fine.

I'm in SE Wisconsin.
