I posted this in the wanted section, but thought I would try here where more people nearby would see it.

Our current hatch will end the weekend of February 27th. We are considering starting another batch afterwards. We are considering purchasing eggs for this batch. We will be looking for large fowl eggs in the Knoxville area. Barnyard mixes are acceptable. Not looking for bantams, ee's or mediterranean breeds. Please PM with what you have available for pick-up in the knoxville area on Feb 28th and price per dozen or half dozen. Nothing is for sure at this point, just exploring options.

I could fill your bator real reasonably right now..save me from filling mine

It is just off of Hwy 68... right next to East TN Feed & Seed. They don't have a definate start time... usually right about sun up... it goes until everyone sold what they wanted to sell. I have been told that 8-9 is the best time... the selling folks had been there a couple hours and can be talked down off their prices a bit easier.

It's the first and the third Saturday... every month.

Maybe we'll see you there!

Maybe.

I have to go to Franklin sat. to pick up chicks. But I am looking for a nice size rooster that has a blue egg gene. I live near Nashville Tn. and would not like to drive to far.

You know I saw a whole field full of them about 2 weeks ago. I have never seen that many at one time. I rolled down the window and told them they were too early, but they're still around. Gary and I started somewhere yesterday and in our neighbors yard was a robin trying his darndest to pull a worm out of the ground. We just sat there and cheered him on.
