Ginamarans, I am a brand new chicken owner. I wanted chickens for eggs. I ordered 25 day olds from MMH and received them 2-25. I have RIR, Red Stars, Black Stars, 2 BR and one "rare chick" I believe is a Silver Spangled Hamburg. I will be cutting down to 8 hens (a mix of these) soon. I have a friend who will buy the rest. They are housed in a chicken tractor my dad and husband built. So far this has been great fun, but with all this rain, I think I heard one quack.
