Teratoma/ovary follicle egg? Help me identify what is wrong with this egg!

Hello this is my first time posting on backyard chickens, am a daughter of a farm in NC and today while collecting eggs I saw an egg that stood out. The egg is shelled but extremely fragile to the touch. The weirdest part of this egg is the protrudence that comes out of the egg that had bled on the egg slightly, the most curious thing about it, is that it pulsates. This egg has only been laid about 2-4 days ago and seems to be almost alive already. We've put a flash light on it to see the inside and there was indeed a chubby thing in the egg, it didn't seem to be in the shape of a normal developing chick. It seems to pulsate after moving it or holding it so it may be an effect of the gelatinous insides moving for why it seems to be pulsating. Would love some help on this one, my mom suggested cracking it open, but if it is alive id rather try to raise it even if it does come out deformed. Thank you

I wouldn't bother trying to incubate an egg that looks like that.

So what ever happened with the egg??? Super curious as to whether you incubated it, cracked it open eventually, or what? I wanna know what was inside!!
