Terror of the Barnyard (Video)

I didn't realize it was you! I just started reading and didn't look at who posted. It doesn't surprise me now that this lovely one belongs to you. I am Pippin's biggest fan. You have a good heart!

I don't know enough about beaks and trimming. I think you said that there is flesh on the underside of the bottom beak and you've hit it. What about the top beak? Could that be cut a bit so there wasn't as much there?

Keep up the good work. I always love reading your posts!!

Thank you for saying this! I agree. Let's focus on the positives. We have an amazing owner who is so willing to go with the flow. I love to see survivor stories.
The videos are great. What a brave little man.

My name suggestion would be "Amari" It's an African that means to have strength.

I love the video where he is by what looks like a pond. He looks like a little flamingo-eagle cross. I had a giggle when there was some crowing in the background as his head was up and it looked like it was coming from him.
What he is lacking in looks he (she) seems to be making up in personality. Bless his sweet little self.

Love him sooooooooooooo much - you know I am a big fan having watched my two disabled boys grow and overcome - I am on the side of any animal who wants to live and enjoy life no matter what they look like or their abilities.

What a great charactor and how much he will inspire others especially kids with disability too. Though I do think your Utube post might get a few why don;t you cull questions. I for one am so glad you love him/her for what they are. Ugly of course but what a big personallity!

From watching the first video, he seems very aware, alert, and bright! Very cute, too, actually--especially when you get to see his confident, cheerful personality!

Thanks very much for sharing!

Sorry the beak isn't able to be worked with more. Good for you with what you are doing for him!

I loved the video. I don't like to use the "U" word. I don't like to call people or things that word. I think he is cute in his own way. I"m happy you are there to care for him.

The pool video brought tears to my eyes. I don't even notice my one chicks deformed feet now and my cross beaked chick has discovered if she comes to me I will help her eat the treats and they both still enjoy going free ranging. I don't know if I would have saved Griffon/Iron Eye. I'm glad you did.
