testing his voice

my brahma roo (bobthebuilder) started to test his voice today. he's trying to cackle. wonder how long til he drives my DH batty

Love that name for your roo! I'll have to tell my grandson.
As to DH, of course that is all personal-probably directly related to how he feels about having the chickens at all in the first place. I like the sound of my rooster crowing. I've even heard him @ shortly after 2:00 am. Often. I just take it as similar to the old town crier. "2 o'clock and all's well!"

I don't think he minds them too much.

my 4 year old named 3 out of the 4 chickens. that one though is the only one named after a kids character (not sure where she got Cassie and Kim from). I keep calling him Spongebobthebuilder when I talk to him.
