So, is there a way to only recieve alerts from threads I have visited/subscribed to?

Yeah, unwatch the forums. Not certain why it changed, but perhaps it previously stopped sending you alerts for the watched forums because you had stopped clicking on any of the alerts, but started sending them again after the update for some reason.

Bear in mind now, I’m speaking strictly of visual acuity on mobile devices.

If the file to be inserted is of grayish color and containing words (even worse if written in white) the prompts of Insert and then Thumbnail/Full image are almost invisible. The trash can image is a little more recognizable simply because it is a picture vs words.

I tried testing it, and the buttons still looked pretty visible.

A bit curious why all the similar threads are so old. I know there are simar threads to what I look at that are much more recent. I like the idea, but there's no point in reading a thread from 2010.

There are some very beneficial OLD threads, but very few. And I have found that the more valuable older threads have been bookmarked by the BYC Educators and brought to light when helping others on particular subjects.

The possibilities of an inexperienced viewer/user finding what would possibly be helpful is slim to none. I know, I’ve tried. And now that I see the Similar threads section, I don’t believe it will be that significant in helping searchers, simply because it shows the articles in the same order over and over, with no rotation. If those threads rotated, bringing new content up every so often, I could see it being a little more beneficial.

Once again, just my thoughts. And thanks bunches for all the time, energy and effort you dedicate to the wonderful world of BYC!

I haven't been able to duplicate this problem.

Is anybody else seeing alerts for threads to which they did not subscribe or reply to?

I receive alerts for threads that I am not subscribed to. I am subscribed to several forums which is the reason for those alerts.
