I guess this has to do with new format.

1. Can not put an emoji in, using smiley face icon. I can’t even see any emojis.

2. My notifications (the bell icon) tell me I have x new things - threads or categories I’m watching. So, I check them, but the red number never goes away. Also noticed in this drop down for notifications, it is hard to tell what is new notification and what is not.

Make sure that you are not in BB code. It may affect your attempt to use smiley faces.


If you have this box checked in your preferences, you will need to click on each alert individually to dismiss them.

Hmm...no brackets. In fact, as I type this, I only see what is on your top line (but it appears as 2 lines on my screen..not sure why), but your second row that includes the brackets does not appear for me.

You need to click the three little dots on the top row in order to see the second row.

I’m not sure what BB mode is, however, none of the boxes you showed above were checked on my preferences. Thx.

Ah ha! The brackets showed up! Unfortunately, the smiley face icon to access emojis is still not working. When I click on smiley face, the curser in text box goes away, as if something else (like the emojis) should be active, but nothing shows up.
