And how is uploading pictures working for you?

Uploading into media-albums works fine, pasting images into threads works like it did before. I'm rarely using my phone to BYC, though. I need straight fingers to pick up all the duck-eggs.

How many people use the list or alignment feature, or text color or font size for that matter? It is generally considered bad manners and for reasons related to accessibility for the visually impaired you shouldn't use obnoxious fonts/text colors. The ability to underline and italicize text unless you're using hot keys has now been hidden completely unless you expand the menu.

I'm probably just being a grump because I'm old and don't like change.

Because I'll be young forever. I can't believe MediCare had the nerve to send me an email yesterday about insurance. I'm 32 for goodness sake. I do see the new gif button which means I can insert them this way instead of using ones I have saved to an album/folder. Although sometimes you just have to use one you have saved...

I am using lists, alignments and even tables! In my opinion images look much nicer in threads when they are centered:
