Will the sticky topic index come back? I know they're still there, but the lines are undefined. Kind of like the text box/

options...Nothing to differentiate them from all other posts except that they're on top.

Why can't I add a 'return' to a quote without it splitting into another quote?
ETA....I guess it could be handy, was annoying at first though.

So when I broke the interwebz did I break the smart people who know how/why/what to do to make everything good again too? lol

So while I was away from my desk I tried to post with my phone (what I’m on now to prove a point) and low and behold I can post a gif from my mobile device with no problem.

See?

Not that I’m complaining I don’t have to edit each post when I’m on my phone, but what causes this?

I lied. I had to go back in and delete it re-add it and hit save and it worked just fine...

And this just too perfectly embodies how I feel about the entire thing to not feel the need to edit my post afterward so you can see it...

Try again. It doesn't show in your post but it does show in a quote of your post.

Here is a different method to try. You do have to wait until it completely loads before you hit post. Copy the image that you want to insert. Place cursor in position in the message box and paste it in (Ctrl + V).

That's so strange. I refreshed on the computer and the phone and I can see where I originally posted the "I win" gif thinking I'd defeated the evil interwebz once more, but I don't see it in a quote.

The way I got it into my post was by copying it from the quote of your post.

Here is a different method to try. You do have to wait until it completely loads before you hit post. Copy the image that you want to insert. Place cursor in position in the message box and paste it in (Ctrl + V).

I've done that too. Like the image stays greyed out until it's 100% uploaded and then you see it in all of its glory (color and/or with motion). Which is when the cursor is free to click around and continue typing or hit "Post reply". I've decided it hates me.
