You are right! My images are much smaller than the ones he posted. And I consider my iPhone 11 to be a decent size.

I doubt the images are smaller than this, which is what they were like before the update.

It was designed for use with fairly modern browsers. You should see if you can get a browser that's at least somewhat newer, take a look at this one: https://www.palemoon.org/
Mozilla fork that's still updated.

I have an up to date browser on another computer. No new browser will install on this OS. Any attempt at installing anything new on this system will cause the system to crash.

It was never fully compatible with other programs even when it was new and maintained.

That is not what I saw prior to the update.

Each image came up on its own line, the options were in green with a white font. It also had the option above the images for thumbnail or full image that would insert all of the images at the same time by clicking on one button. Of course there were no 3 dots to have to click on to get to anything.

You can get the URL for the thumbnail by right clicking on the thumbnail and select copy image location.

I know how to get the image-URL, but what about the thumbnail-URL?

Sorry, no! If you clicked on a picture in an album a page was displayed that had these links when you scrolled down:

Especially the Thumbnail and the Gallery BB code are impossible to create from scratch.

Right click on the image in your album. Select open in a new tab. The codes you want will be there on the side just as @CarpCharacin said they are.
