Testing New BYC Version - Editor

It's a tricky balance between moving forward to support new tech and trying to still support old tech. The two are often mutually exclusive.

I remember this article as a great example:

"To save more than $100,000, 4ormat decided to skip Internet Explorer, opting to only allow users to access its service through Mozilla’s Firefox and Google Chrome browsers"
http://www.internetnews.com/blog/skerner/skip-internet-explorer-for-web-dev.-save-100000.html

We'd LOVE to have a perfect site for every browser, version, device, etc. etc. etc. combination, while maximizing that perfect experience for each unique combination... but it's unfortunately impossible... at least until Elon Musk wants to partner with BYC ;)

All that said, we'll keep trying our best to fix bugs and support as many peeps as possible!

To that end, please make sure there is a separate thread that is kept active with examples, details about browser, etc., and preproduction steps. That will help us identify the commonalities between the users (if it's a browser, connection, etc. issue) and then hopefully find a fix.

I have a question about alerts, prior to this update when an alert was read it would drop off of the list. Now it just says Mark, either Mark read on the right side under the alert or Mark unread on the left side under the alert. I did noticed that the Mark read alerts go to the top of the list. Is there a setting to have the read alerts drop off the list as they used to? Just curious...

I believe it is this section under Preferences

I have another question, when in the RTF and something I added is in bold and I try to un-bold it, for whatever reason it is still bold. I can do it in BB code, but when I do BB code and add an image the image doesn't come up but the code for the image does as an attachment. I don't know if that makes sense, but just curious. I don't know if it's my computer or anyone else has had this happen.

I haven't had any issues with Bold. BB code is messing up the picture uploads. You need to make sure that you are not in BB code when uploading pics.

Can you post a screenshot of what you're seeing in both RTF mode and BB code mode?
