Testing Question!!

You know, I'm not entirely sure on where this question should go!!

But, I am located in PA (zip: 17368) - I need to get my birds tested.
I contacted a lady close to Bel Air but haven't heard back and it's been a couple days.

I was wondering if anyone knows if there are other people near me who could test my birds?

Contact your State's Dept of Agriculture, they should be able to point you in the right direction.

Awwww, you're too far away or I'd test them for you!

Contact the dept of AG, they'll send out someone like me (state certified poultry technician) to test your birds. There is no cost for the lab work for Avian Influenza and salmonella pullorum. If you want other tests, they are available but there may be a charge.


I looked it up in my handbook for you. York county is region 6, try this # (717)346-3223 Dr John Roberts is the Veterinarian at the regions Dept of AG office.
