Took some fresh food to the coop today. Had six eggs waiting on me. One of the TT's was in a corner, getting ready to lay. Took fresh water second trip out. Soon as I stepped out the back door I heard her singing. Got to the coop, she was still on the egg. Went to grab it out from under her and she nipped me. She continued to lay there camouflaging herself with hay twigs. Went about my biness for a bit. Thought to myself "what the heck, let's see what she does" Put the egg back, next to her, and after a few seconds she rolled it back under her and settled back down on it! I'll see if she commits. If she does, I can get some Ameraucana (spelling?) and silkie eggs from a relative.

How's you TT girl doing? I do believe I have a broody one too. I have to deliver her water and food to her nest box. I am shoving some eggs under her tomorrow.
