I have the Tetroxy HCA-280 (Oxytetracycline HCI) I want to make sure I am giving my bird the right dose. I am giving 1 teaspoon per gallon and want to give him the 800mg dose. My package has 102.4 g of oxytetracyline and the bag weighs 280g. I read so many different doses and want to make sure I am not underdosing.

I am treating him for Micoplasma and I have no idea how to convert 400-800 mg to teaspoons

i did another post about mixing it with Denagard and was told 1 teaspoon. I really wanted to double check.

I guessed that one teaspoon weighs about 3 grams and came up with 3/4 teaspoons per gallon, so your 1 teaspoon per gallon amount is fine.
