I don't buy zip ties. I just save them from the toys the kids have or from other odd places. I took a refrigerator apart & ended up with tons. Oh I did buy a container of them about 5 years ago. I was working on a friends car & needed them so I bought some with his money.

The plastic zip ties are CHEAP. I think the last tub of assorted ties I bought was about $8.00 for 5000 ties. The large ones get used on cars and other house hold repairs and the little ones end up in the barn for identifying sex, age, etc.

I find plastic tip ties at our local dollar store. They dont always carry them. Just have to watch and wait. And when they do have them. I buy.
