Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do. 
Does anyone have any pictures of Texas A&M quail with a size reference in the picture? I picked up 3 females and 1 male yesterday, and feel like theyre smaller than they should be so I was questioning if they were pure or not. I have Mearns Quail too which are a small species, and they seem to be smaller than them, but then again havent had them side by side to compare. Thanks.
