I thought I posted about it here....
A week ago last Saturday he and his brother were out doing some off road (mostly dirt road) driving and came upon an open to the public mud event.  This is apparently great fun to do (maybe it's a guy thing) so they went. It was on some guys land in Princeton.  Anyway, while they were they a guy was teaching his wife to off road drive and she got stuck in the mud so Nathan went to help them get out. He parked his car and got out so he could hook up the tow strap. The people decided to try and get unstuck one more time, and did, and backed right into Nathan's car.  They convinced both my boys they didn't need to give out their insurance info because it was on private property and both of their insurance would go up. WRONG!!!
Luckily Nathan had the license plate for the car and my insurance company was able to get the registered owner's name and called them. Guess what. They don't own the car anymore! So we used a card the guy gave Nathan and were able to obtain the guys first name. With that and the info the registered owner gave my insurance adjuster she was able to call the people and get their insurance info so Nathan could file a claim.  They lied like crazy about everything. They are so dumb too because what they are saying happened could make them lose their coverage or their rates to go sky high. Thankfully we have witnesses to back up Nathan's story.
It's been a learning experience for both the boys. One Trevor had already gone through (with me there) when a person hit him in a parking lot. I guess the guy was nasty enough to intimidate them. Trevor (and many others) told them to give out the info but they wouldn't. They even tried to drive away. Trevor blocked them in with his truck.

  Smart thinking!
So we are still waiting....
