I'm not allowed in his truck anymore because I am too much of a backseat driver. lol! He doesn't like hearing put both hands on the wheel and slow down and .....

Prayers for his safety (might as well add his brother Nathan in here too) are appreciated. :)

Here is a recipe to add to your list. I wish I could have this. I have yet to find a good dairy free cream though.

Hi Everyone,
I'm not a Texan, but dream of being one. My husband is a water operator and were considering a move. I've been to Austin before and loved it. We have roosters and donkeys, so we need to live some place rurally, but close enough for my husband to find work. Can anyone recommend an area to consider? I don't know where to start looking in a state so big! Thanks

Good Morning and Welcome to the site!!!!

I live in Rosenberg, SW of Houston. Fort Bend County is one of the fastest growing counties in Texas. You will find rural, subdivisions, etc. here. We live outside of Rosenberg. It takes my husband 40 minutes to get to work (he leaves at 5:30 to beat the traffic.)

Look for an area that is not deed-restricted, doesn't have MUD tax, and will not be annexed by the city. Good luck on your search and come back and sit a while with us.

Lisa :)

Good morning Everyone!

We got a little under a 1/2" rain. Not complaining, it helped! We must have gotten some wind last night. Most of my corn was down. I just came in from standing it back up.

Ya'll have a great day!

Lisa :)
