I'm currently having major chick drama...

I have an ameracauna hen who has been sitting on 6 eggs scheduled to hatch tomorrow... 2 surprised me and hatched leaving 4 with know broody...I water candled them (several times in the last 3 days) they are all wiggling. I went to the hardware store prepared to build an incubator, but the owner who keeps chickens said as hot and humid as it's been just put them in a bucket in the tack room and they'll be fine...so that's where I sit. Chewing my nails!

Baron killed three chickens before he changed his ways. Now, he ignores them - they free range - its all working! We live in Houston, but our Chickens are @ our place in the country near Burnet, TX

They are, but worth every minute of it. Sasha is my 6th GSD and the best one I've had.

This is the sire of the litter I might get a puppy out of. The mom is all black. Isn't he a looker?!!

So I'm going to be a creeper and casually go by the feed store after work. I made Josh call again rolleyes: ) and ask what day they'd be in.
She said they were expecting them today, they just hadn't gotten the call yet, but they'd be in tomorrow for sure.
Now the store is on the way to the new sitter's house. I'm going to swing by for some egg cartons...and I'll just HAPPEN to have boxes in the car, you know...just in case they got them in since 12:30...

Can we say obsession????????
