Texas Member List - Updated 1/2010

A couple of months late with this info. Hayes Farms in mansfield tx. processes chickens for 1 dollar each(bring your own freezer bags). They charge 25 cents extra for bag. They are located about 1 mile south of hwy. 1187 on Bennett Lawson Rd. If your familiar with the area it's the intersection known as fireworks alley. They don't take in chickens on friday. They do process them right away. I took 6 roosters to them and they were ready in about 15 minutes. If you have a weak stomach wait outside. They do have at least 2 english speaking employees. Sorry i don't have a phone #. If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me.

Rendonroo - thanks for the info!

That's a five hour drive for me, but I am desperately seeking someone nearby to process mine. Do anyone know of a processor in the Amarillo, Plainview or Lubbock area?

I've still not been added to the Texas Members List.... Am I not chicklee enough to be part of the chicken club?
