Some one said one fire was started by some one with a tow behide BBQ pit with a fire in it cooking meat going down the road!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are not even cooking out side tomorrow, never cooked ribs in side will be the first time. But will not take a chance.
Prayers and thouhgt to those in harms way

There are also a bunch of wildfires burning up this way in Oklahoma, it's getting bad and has been this way all summer as is the case in Tx as well. I am really getting tired of all this destruction due to the drought.

At what point do we start electing officials who understand that this climate change thing is for real and we did it to ourselves? It won't get better in a longterm way until we as a nation change our behaviors, and that is a real slow ship to turn around.

Another fire started a few minutes ago. A power pole fell and the live wire hit the rail road track and started the RR ties on fire. Is in an area called the Sand Flatts were the kids go 4 wheeling in the sand dont know if they can get the tank truck to it because of the deep sand. Just said they had to wait out the fire.

Yes that one is bad that is the only track to get into town.
We have had several small brush fires in our neck of the woods. We still have idiots that "think" they can do a control burn on their feild and it will be ok.

Still have a few that think it's OK to burn their trash.

It's much harder to get out of the way of a fire with a wagon and mule, than it is with a pickup truck. In the end, you would not be happy with the results of your dream utopia.

Standing outside and yelling to the neighbor a quarter of a mile away, just isn't the same as a cellphone.
