what a busy day! not to mention my bossman dropped a bomb on us and turned in his 2 weeks!! now there will be only myself and another guy rotating call weeks, im getting bumped up to international duty with no pay raise...in addition to what i do already!! and have to train someone else to help us maintain the workload.....ugh....not looking forward to the next few weeks at all!!

defintately looking forward to a drinkle-doodle-doo this eveing!!

Sorry! Seems that happens a lot lately, people leave, they are not replaced and those left behind have to pick up the work without additional comp. You deserve a drinkle-doodle-doo!

I'm not far from you and so far haven't gotten anything except a small rumble just now. It's dark enough that the chickens think it's bedtime.

Hi! We are just west of Fort Worth, in the Weatherford area. We are new to chickens.... still looking actually. I finally convinced my city dweller husband to move to the country. We have a llama, and St. Croix lambs on the way, and my daughter is bound and determined to have chickens! We are looking for Wheaten Ameracaunas and some colorful Guineas.

Welcome! It's great to have you. You sort of sound like my husband and me, only backward. I was the converted city girl. Now we also raise sheep, though East of Dallas, and just started our chickens, too. Anyway, It's good to have ya.

We are getting intermittent light rain in Abilene. Maybe enough to help the pasture. Last year my chooks were hard put to find any greens.
