And now it doesnt have crooked toes. The way i was having to position them was makin her hold her foot funny
Yes, that is what I was trying to explain.

The cockerels have thicker and longer legs, their feet are larger also. Thanks for posting a great example of each.

Oh wow! Thank you so much! I am going to have to do some more studying tomorrow on mine! The two GLW I totally see this with! The BR and 2 EE.. I need to look again! Oh I hope i don't have 5 roos!!

Yep tried blasting them with water several times. Alcohol/water didn't do much. Used dawn/water today and that seems to have worked. Will look them over later and see for sure. Thanks!
Have you tried spraying them with water? Like a shower a few times a day? Can take about a week but that usually does it... or water mixed with soap? (1-2T dawn to a gallon of water..leave it on for about 30 mins then rinse it off.. (you can do it once a week.. in the morning)They thrive in hot dry conditions so you might want to try increasing the humidity by misting them daily
If none of those work. rosemary oil or neem oil work great! Don't use vinegar as it (made that mistake.. LOL) as it will kill the plants. Get some ladybugs :) and last... I have heard others use Isopropyl Alcohol - Mix 1 part alcohol with 2 parts water.
I usually use neem for everything the soap won't get.. when I am out of neem I use this combo- Boil 1Tbs Chili Powder, 1Tbs Nutmeg, and 1Tbs Cinnamon in one gallon of water for an hour. Strain the liquid through a coffee filter. (Chili powder boiled alone seems to do the trick as well) Once cooled, apply as you would Neem Oil.

I got some "nontoxic" stuff in a white spray bottle at Lowes that has stuff like rosemary oil and such in it. Sprayed it on ants in with the chickens - did pretty well. Says it is for mites and other insects. It was on a shelf out in the garden section where they keep stuff like insecticidal soap, etc. Could always try insecticidal soap as well.

I'll have to try this on ants. They are all over... Thanks!
