Lt Brahma have feathered legs and Delawares don't. Brahmas have a pea comb and Delawares have a straight comb. Something about their hackle feathers but not sure. Not sure about the Sussex.

Delawares have yellow legs, straight comb, and barring

Light Sussex are black and white (no barring) and pinkish white legs.

Columbian Wyandotte have no barring on the black feathers, yellow legs and feet and rose combs

Thanks jessica! That was perfect. I have been hunting for some brahma eggs and alway click on the other breeds! But i love my lt brahma pullet, she is definately entertaining. I have a second one that is about 8 weeks or so as well and unfortunately looking like its gonna be another pullet

I still have the 3 Cubalaya roosters. Yesterday was their first day to be outside all day, today was even hotter and they did really well. So still stressing over the heat!!!! As far as time, nope, my new 2 kittens and 2 kids take care of that!

Anyone have a very broody silkie? Ours has gone broody again! Only about 2 months after hatching a clutch. Is this normal for them? And will her ee foster be imprinted by this and become broody as well?

Sure, any time you are coming through town let me know. We DID send some egg this month to my brother. That was a special occasion though. We don't normally ship egg in the summer, but did hand carry a dozen to Oklahoma last July and they had 11 out of 12 cream Legbars hatch, so we know that hatches are possible even in 100+ deg weather.

How much do you sell the legbar eggs for?
