Yep, about a 6-7 hour drive for us(we're east of you close to the Louisiana line).
It'll be worth it, though! Gonna be cold for a wimpy Texan like me!

hey there's another one coming on january 8 on college station I've been told is gonna be big with 800 members
im gonna drive there ,ride from where I live will be 3hrs 21 mins

I only have pet chickens but I LOVE LOVE LOVE going to see all the different kind of chickens at Shows close by... I seems to always miss when ones are coming up. Is there a Master List of ALL shows around Texas and surrounding states?

I heard about the one in Aggie Land in January and my darling husband promises we can go to that one! Someone said it was across from the George Bush Library and we want to see that too, so sounds like a fun trip! Does anyone know if there is anything else going on that weekend? Meetups? anything chicken related oe even non-chicken related that is in that area?

sadly my yokohamas are not done growing their feathers ,I just gonna go to get to know more chicken lovers and maybe I can find more birds to add to my folk.

I just add some bantam to my backyard
im looking to add the standard size, sumatras
are my favorite.
I had a black sumatra standard size once but it got killed ,that thing was the king of the backyard.
it was always alert ,caring, protecting none of the hens never complain
