Me? Yup, if there is one thing I know how to do its have pretty babies

My oldest looks just like my husband, and the middle boy looks just like me. The littlest boy looks like my brother (who still has cotton top hair at 30) and the baby looks like me too. Its funny to look at your child and see yourself. Its even funnier when the oldest, who has a little bit of a smart mouth streak (not disrespectful, more of a funny type) says something and I want to apologize to DH because I know EXACTLY where it came from.

Yes, CRAZY! I came home the other day and DD (6 YO) was "cleaning" the TV she says "Hi, mom! How was your day?", I said "It was good!", she said "I bet grownup good, which is not as fun as kid good", I almost fell to the ground laughing!!!!! The she went back to "cleaning" the TV. Dang I LOVE my kids!

The TX thread is basically for people in TX along with "misplaced" Texans in other states, but it isn't necessarily just all chicken stuff.  Some people have thought that it was just a place to announce your location in TX, others that it was only about chicken topics.  But the thread has a life of its own and it's basically a bunch of Texans sitting on their "backporch" and chatting, so the the topics range far and wide sometimes depending on the conversation flow - just like when you're shooting the breeze in person with someone.  Sometimes you'll find people chiming in on a particular topic, other times they won't, so you'll see some people here and there and then you may not see them for a while.  Just like in real life.  Hopefully you won't be put off by it and if the topic of conversation doesn't interest you, feel free to do what everyone else does and just skip those until the topic is something you're interested in, or ask a question/make a comment on a topic that you have on your mind at that time.

Everyone! You need to read this and understand that not everyone shares your point of view on everything and stop squalling to the moderators everytime somebody says something that offends your sensitivities. This is the Texas thread and for those of you that are new to Texas, we pride ourselves on self reliance and we find it unbecoming of an adult to run to the authorties just because someone says something you don't like. This is Texas. Start acting like Texans.

In 6 months you will know

J/K, it means you build a coop and say hey I want 5 X breed chicken and you get 5, then you come on BYC and learn about Y breed chicken and you think hey I can fit 2 more, then you see A,B,C,D breed chicken and say, well need a new coop. Next thing you know, the 5 has changed to 50 and your yard is covered in coops and chickens and that my friend is chicken math
