You and I have the same taste in birds, Pigeon. I just bought some Lemon Blue Cochin eggs. Beautiful birds. These will be my first Cochins.
My Sumatra hens are Kernan bloodline so they are gorgeous. I have an AMAZING looking young Black Sumatra cockerel who has the strangest tail growth I've ever seen. Magnificent looking boy, but I just can't show him until I see if that tail gets right after he molts his first time.

I noticed that when I feed my roosters with dog food they grow feathers a little bit faster and long.
I buy the 25lb it only cost me $ 5.49
the pieces are actually big but I soak it in water ,Im feeding them twice a day one serve of chickenscratch in the morning and one of dog food at noon.
they digest dog food faster that help them
to obtain more protein from it.

Yep, gallo, I've heard dog or cat food as a protein boost for good feather growth. I personally haven't tried it-I used canned tuna or salmon. Crazy, huh? Dog or cat food would be cheaper.

I also feed Dog food, Lay pellets ,Rabbit Pellets, sun flower seeds and corn

I mix Racehorse oats, BOSS, cracked corn, layer pellets and gamebird feed. Seems to work really well.
I'm also currently adding some Nutraboost since they'll be showing soon.
