I wanted to remind everyone in the Austin area that the deadline for coop entries in the Austin Funky Chicken Coop Tour is 1/22/11. I would love to see your coop on the tour.

If you are out of the Austin city limits and want to help, there are also volunteer opportunities available.

Whether you participate as a coop host or volunteer or not, the tour is a lot of fun. It is also a good opportunity to meet other BYC members.

I am so glad that ya'll had such a good time and I wish I could have been there. Sheila, I am so happy for you and I guess you won't live it down that your DH placed so well with his piglet Call. Haha. There ought to be a way that BYC'ers could identify each other at shows. We'll have to study on this. When my DH and I go to a show, we sure want to meet everyone, hmmmm...................maybe we could all dress in holstein cow suits??? or Dr Suess cat-in-a-hat???
There has to be some identification everyone can wear other that looking completely goofy.

Well, that's a sure fire way to be sure you met all of the BYCers(of course, then BYC would stand for Backyard Cows).
Baymule, I sure hope you and your DH come to the show in Beaumont!
I think Pigeon will be showing there as well.
Forgot to congratulate Pigeon's son on all of his wins yesterday-he did great! He is a really nice young man and has some really nice birds.
