Tornado Watch for San Antonio, Austin, Bastrop, and other counties till midnight tonight! Check your local weather to find out if you are affected.

it has been raining here for a long time we lost our power this afternoon about 2ish i was so scared for the new ducklings and my eggs in the incubator but the ducklings are ok and the bator temp only dropped to 87f so i think everyone is going to be ok. Hows the weather else where everybody dry?

I sure do admire those Jacobs sheep, wish I had enough land for a couple of them. They are a fine looking beast.

So Fred (we think) has given us one egg per day since she started, on Monday...and today we got a brown egg too. I'm thinking this came from Red (Red Sex-link), though it's possible it came from one of my Easter Eggers. Two of them have started squatting now too. WooHoo! EGGS!

woot!!! i can't wait for my watson to start laying she is 17 weeks right now so only a few more weeks to go

We haven't had a half inch of rain since Christmas and it doesn't look like we will get any this year. Two years ago we went 11 months and 5 days without a drop, oh well.
I live in the Big Bend in Marathon.

Apparently we are getting funnel clouds just outside of Austin. Everyone stay safe!!! We are getting some good rain in Round Rock.

Winds up to 60mph, is what I think they are forecasting. I did my best to secure or get everything that could fly under cover. The chickens, ducks, and geese are once again sharing the chicken coop for safety. Caught my outside cat and put herin the garage. Took down the shade over the above ground pool, even boarded up a couple window in my older son's room. Now I am praying that we don't get hit too badly, we already suffered damage from the last storms that rolled through.
Everyone please take precautions and stay safe!
