I've been raising my Barred Rocks since they were a few weeks old and my wife wanted nothing to do with it. Now that they've started laying, suddenly she's excited and interested. lol Chicken Math has exploded and she says she wants all of these and of course, I love chickens so I'm going to humor her!! Lol I recognize the BR @6o'clock obviously. Clockwise from there is a RIR, then a BO... Can anyone identify the other breeds while she's still interested?! Haha

Clockwise from the Barred Rock: Hew Hampshire Red (or a light Rhode Island), Buff Orpington (super sweet breed), Easter Egger (lay blue/green eggs usually), Silver Laced Wyandotte, Gold Laced Wyandotte

Very pretty! So I'm really new to chickens and only have 2 ducks but I am going to venture a guess that at least 1 of them is a gold laced Wyandotte and one looks like maybe a silver laced. Someone else will know for sure.

I finished up my ducky house on Monday! Super stoked and they are doing great outside. I'm so happy to have them in their own house and out of the garage. They got big fast and are 4 weeks old. I let them out I free range our yard for the first time today and they came up to our patio and came running when I pulled out the kale. They aren't super friendly yet and don't like to be real close to humans. I put out a thing of water for them but didn't full up the pool. My mistake! They went swimming in the little thing of water, lol! They couldn't figure out why they wouldn't fit. Anyway here is their house

Clockwise, Barred Rock, Rhode Island Red, Buff Orphington, Easter Egger, Silver Laced Wyandotte, and Blue Laced Red Wyandotte or a Golden Laced Wyandotte..

I have BRa, BOs, RIRs, BAs (Black Austrolorps) and a single SLW in my flock.
The BRs are very sweet and social.
The BOs are calm, and beautiful.
The SLW is easily the smartest bird in mt flock.
The RIRs are very dependable layers.

Thanks for the quick responses on my breed question! My 4 barred rocks have been housed in a movable a-frame chicken tractor that was supposed to hold 6 but it is max capacity as far as I'm concerned... I am in the process of building an open air hoop coop using an old trampoline as the frame work so that we can make room for the ladies that are surely to come soon. I'll be sure to post pics of the progress....
