Hey Yall!

Anyone in the San Antonio Area want a rooster? I have this blue copper Marans rooster 4-5 weeks old that needs a good home. Pick up only unless your close to me we can arrange something. Free to BYC chicken lovers. He's super cute but I can't keep a rooster and am pretty sure thats what this is

Pretty feathered feet but really to dark for a blue but not really a black either more like charcoal color. Thanks!

the order of chicks I got from ideal and they're will be some Roos added for warmth during shipping apparently so I'm stocked up on Roosevelt. Though I heard the Marans lay nice dark eggs so if you're selling any hens or interested in a trade in the near future....

Recently relocated to Midland, TX....anyone close by? Thinking I might get some chickens, but I'm worried about the heat in the summertime. I'd like to know how others do in West Texas w/their chickens.

We are new to chickens & this forum. We're located in the country (North Central Texas) between Sanger & Krum. Our five chicks were a birthday gift (Sept) & we made them a coop from the old dog house. There are now three chicks that crow! They are healthy & love watermelon.
