I had been planning to breed my two german shepherds, Weiss and Knox, they tied about a month or so ago, and I had written down the date of the breeding and planned everything out. I should have been able to xray my baby next saturday, she has not had any changes, and with how upset she was at being bred, I decided to get her spayed. Also for the fact that she had been a little puny and I was suspecting that she may have an infection setting in since after breeding infections could occur. So, I took the dogs to work with me and set her up for a spay. Lo and behold, the doctor called me in and stated "She's pregnant" I smacked my head in disbelief. So with little more to say, my lil female shepherd is three weeks pregnant, and has at least three little ones on one side of her uterus that I saw. I am excited to see the pups come. Here I was ready to get her spayed and she pulls a blind one on me haha. I guess till after the pups~:frow
Congrats on the pups on the way!

Biggest problem I have with the gnats is they like my Makers Mark Whiskey as much as I do!!!

. I'm always having to pick the little buggers out. Wife says they're just protein.

All this rain I am more concerned with skeeters. Keep my Thermacell going when I sit out in the evening.

How do you like the thermacell? We are buying a least one this weekend. I get bit the min I step foot outside. I have to soak myself from head to toe, even my clothes, just to let the girls out. Soooooo bad and we live near a little lake/pond so there isn't anything to he done about it. I regularly kill them inside the house as well, but by that point they have feasted and are full of blood. The "natural" methods just don't work on these blood suckers!

y wife just brought home 2 baby dove. Took me a while to identify them as dove, but they are dove. does anyone know how to care for them?? They are completely feathered out and seem to be healthy at the moment.

I keep my front 10 acres mowed and water doesn't stand as I am on top of a hill here. My back 53 acres is lower and as soon as you get in the woods they are all over you.

Tyler news is saying 4-8 inches rain this coming week for East Texas. Texas needs to get our water table back up and this beats the hell out of a drought.

And good luck with the Pups!!!

Congrats on the pups on the way!

Thanks much you guys. :)

In other news, anyone interested in a splash naked neck too? My little one what was my favorite is sporting red wattles already and not even feathered in on his little body yet! His comb is so much bigger than the other three. I also have a little Easter egged/Americana cross that is blue That I think is a roo. Bigger than the other two and much less feathering and thick leggs.
