As far as snakes I have been wanting to get a 3 inch Taurus .410 magnum revolver. I figure it will have more impact than the snake shot in my .44 magnum.

the .45/.410? Yep or even the Taurus .38s with snake shot works well. They both do. Grins

I don't know much about guns except that you really can't miss with a shot gun, lol. When I got the rat snake a week or so back my sister in law said, 'WOW, great shot Renee.' I told her you really can't miss with a shot gun and that I was just happy none of it hit her, lol.

I hope everyone is doing ok in the thunderstorms.

x2 Nothing happening here yet but the radar looks scary.

$1999. Not cheap - but then again, I hadn't really ever found a cheap generator, and had been meaning to get one for a long time. Since I got it tax free, I saved a decent bit. What I like about it is that it's quiet, no CO poisoning risk and I can either charge from the wall (and then hang around charged), or charge from the solar panels.

Shotguns are good. They are not so good in tight spaces with others around and a bit awkward to collect eggs with.
