Texas

I posted a few pics on this site somewhere.
Im thinking i have 4 California whites, 3 barred rocks and 1 welsummer.

Thank you!! Yay!! What do they look like???
Im actually going to have them in the house until they are old enough to be outside. We dont have coons here that i know of, but i have stray cats and i dont want them to get my babies lol.

Okay. I would have said inside, but most people don't want the baby chicks inside.

I have mine babies inside, I just found out yesterday by someone on here that I should have them outside already.
They are so small and I have no idea how old they are. Im guessing two weeks? Do you think they can go outdoors yet?
I have the coop and run built and I do put them out for a little while each day.

I'm considering moving mine out today. They are a month old and have been in an outside brooder while I have been working on the coop/run. It's been in the eighties all week in the daytime and only turn the light on at night in case it gets too cool for them. Here is a pic of them enjoying the remodeled run.

I keep mine outside in the coop, with the main doors closed, and the egg door open with a net over the opening, it lets fresh air in without letting the chicks out, at night I close the coop. Mine are about 3 weeks old.

Thanks for the input.
