I use this electrolyte recipe quite often for my flock when it gets hot. http://www.fresheggsdaily.com/2012/07/hot-weather-acidosis-and-homemade.html?m=1. I'll also put peas and a little bit of corn in muffin tins and then fill it up with the electrolyte mix. When it really hot I'll toss them out there for the birds.

Sitting in the shade with the ducks as much as possible, lol.



We have two big holes in the ground now. The ducks are not happy. I'm having to fill kiddie pools until we get the pond finished

If you haven't noticed it is hot out there. Pretty much the entire country is at one level or another of a heat event. Be careful and stay cool and alive.
