If you are treating with an antibiotic then don't sell or give away. I usually scramble the eggs and give back to the chickens, they love them. I eat them, but I don't sell any eggs during medication periods. I like a clean flock, I have a lot of chickens.
Find that snake and take it far away, it will go to town on under 6 week old chicks. That and waking up with a snake in my bed.....nope. Wooden eggs also deter snakes.

so how did the snake get IN, how long has it been IN and are there more?
Kind of feel like I am under attack. Last night something was thudding against my house. First time thought maybe an owl flew into the house or something...but it kept up. Went out to look and couldn't find anything in the pitch dark. It kept happening and finally I found a giant Bullfrog. The biggest Bullfrog I have ever seen he must have been jumping up and getting insects? Dunno.
Anyone else ever have 1. snakes in the house via an unknown method (no more leaving the doors open that's for sure0 -- and Have you ever had Bullfrogs thumping against your house at 11:00 at night?

When I was a kid, I was just like that and wanted to have a garter snake for a pet. LOL -- kids are all the same everywhere sometimes.
Probably I will have snake nightmares.... LOL -- There was this Sherlock Holmes story about a snake called 'the speckled band' that attacksat night. Great thought.
