Update @AllenK RGV , how's the coop building coming along?

It is coming along. Just waiting until payday comes around until I buy a new chainsaw blade for trimming down those 12 foot tall 4x4's to 7 foot high for normal a 8 foot high privacy fence for part of their run. I could do that part now but am procrastinating. That cold front came thru last night about midnight and I will wait until noon when we are back in the 80's before I even go outside to do that. All the paint needs to be stripped off my reclaimed stuff so I can deck stain it a redwood color to seal it as well.

Did everyone survive the wind/hail yesterday?

We didn't get the high winds and only a splat of rain. Our winds only got up to 14 mph.

We did great in the valley here not a cloud in sight. The wind did blow a bit but it was a non event for us. If folks were in North Texas, DFW and eastwards there was some bad juju from that storm it seems.

We had strong wind and about 2.5 inches of rain but overall it wasn’t too bad.

My 17/18 viable eggs didn't have to go through the mail at all. There is also a buy/sell forum here to look over.

Checked local Craigslist. Nothing but mixed. Will check others. Saw closest here was Mississippi. Was trying to find something close for a day trip.

We are focused on Blues as of right now. We are raising up a Blue son so it’s possible in the future that Blacks will be available.

We missed all the bad stuff here but just north and west got hit pretty hard by golfball and softball hail. Dodged another one!
