Texas

No flooding streets allowed.

I hate those days.
Imelda, aren't you the Lucky ones, this weeks 1 inch of rain grew the grass 1.5' in many places on the disorganized south side. Gotta love that @RUNuts @Texas Kiki @007Sean how much rain are your weather guys calling for?. https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/gtwo.php?basin=atlc&fdays=2 Luckily, 10/Karen are pointed at the east coast with current modeling.

Late EDIT - 10 will become Jerry and current modeling shows it passing north of PR and not affecting the US coasts. Only TS force winds to PR, Dominica/Haiti. We will see what happens to the Antillies as it passes through there as a Hurricane.

A few inches.
We shall see if they predicted correctly.

It's been raining all day but not heavy rain.

not yet, but she's coming...

Got quite a bit of rain last night and today. The grass is brown, so we needed some. Don't need or want 2 feet.

The 2 year old fig trees gave us a handful of figs. Quite tasty. Said they were black mission, but these were yellow gold fruit. Brown turkey? I don't know my fig trees. Squirrels got a few and I went and picked the rest that were ready.

BTW 10 cockerels made it to the freezer from the 23 chickens that hatched this spring. Pullets integrated into the coop and it's still on the small side. They wanted to sleep under the bananas but I carried to the tractor for a long time and to the coop 2 weeks ago. They all went to coop last night. :wee
