Texas

Im an admin of a local FB group for Houston, and we're assembling a spreadsheet of sellers in the area. If you are in Houston and ever have chicks or birds for sale and want people to be able to inquire to you directly, check out this spreadsheet. In the upper left corner is a link to the survey we use for you to fill out. It takes 5 minutes to complete and we'll add you to the list.

For those in the Houston area who want to just use it as a resource, know I am constantly adding updates through Monday as I work through the entry forms, so it is not "complete" until then and always growing.

Morning fellow coasties and the rest of Texas!

Finally we had enough rain down here to grow fresh green grass again. I hope the chicken appreciate the dietary change and more forage to boot. The mosquitoes are pleased with the break in our drought this morning as I opened up the chicken pens. I think my wallet will be grateful as the feed bills were getting steep. Unfortunately for me, we can grow grass again so I'm going to get a long deserved lawn equipment workout very soon.

So nice to see our deep red is gone regardless.

What's the group called?

Why are these people not on BYC?

So I posted on the main board but no one responded. I have an Easter Egger who went from laying thinner shelled eggs to now laying rubbery shelled eggs. I have 6 total laying hens that I was given last month. No one else is having egg issues. I feed Layena pellets with omega 3 and free feed oyster shells. Anything else I can do for her? I don't know whats wrong.
Do you feed any treats?

Has this bird been sneezing or coughing?
