I'm Jealous, we don't get Robins till March, I think they come on the same plane with red winged blackbirds.- both arrive at the same time.

Lol it’s fine the cows are cuddle bugs their just practices for some of our new dogs for herding are other animals as well as the cows.

We are getting lots of sparrows and a few blue jays. The Cardinals making an appearance. So pretty and this was on the anniversary of my husband's passing.

Its hard when our spouse passes. I'm sorry, I know you miss him. We keep cardinals all year and have 3-4 pairs. Right after Christmas, we lost a male, thump on the bedroom window-he was dead in flowerbed. Its said a cardinal is a loved one come to visit. If so, we get visited often. I miss my hubby, BUT I miss my son more.

ISO: Farm/homestead/new home for ducks.

If anyone has or knows someone who has a farm/homestead situation and would like some ducks, please reach out! We have 3 adult drakes that are butcher weight (if that’s your kind of thing) 2 Pekins and one Mallard. We bought them spring 2020 as week-old ducklings that were inaccurately sexed as female. When they started to mature I realized they all had drake feathers, which personally wasn’t an issue but the older they get the more aggressive they’ve started to become with each other. Given our limited space and lack of females, I don’t see the issue getting resolved. I think they would fare much better with either more space or a mixed flock. We bought them with the intention of an organic solution to our snail problem in the garden (which worked wonderfully!) and eggs. I’m just looking for options, any advice, ideas are much appreciated! Ducks are free and I’ll give whatever food/bedding we still have on hand. Thank you!
